Christmas Presents Nail Art

Sunday, 7 December 2014

Hi there everyone!

So, I'm a little behind schedule on my Christmas nail art designs for this year, so here's my second one. I had hoped to have many more by this time but then I made the decision to completely overhaul my blog's look and layout and name and everything in December. Nice work Dani. (I probably should have thought about how busy that decision was going to make me before I started). Oh well, live and learn.

To be honest, I'm not that enamoured with these nails. I did them late at night, when I was very sleepy and wanted to go to bed but wanted to have polish on my nails more.
I think that major issue with these was that there was no planning or foresight involve at all. I just did my red base and then thought, 'Right, ummm... Better think of something to do on top of that'. I also quite obviously didn't give much thought to the colours scheme either because as soon as I did the silver crosses I realised they also highly resembled the Swiss flag. But I was tired and decided I could deal with having Swiss presents on my nails for a while. Then again, I did walk around for 3-4 days with what looked like some really patriotic Amercian nails from a distance when I did my Captain America nails.

For these nails, I used
Lady in Red by Face of Australia (red, pictured)
Silver Dollar by Revlon (silver)
Black Out by Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear (black)

And it was topped of with a coat of Poshe's Super Fast Drying Top Coat

I hope you like these nails, and I'll hopefully get back on track with my Christmas schedule and have some more nails up in a day or so. :)

In the meantime, check out the rest of my Christmas designs here if you'd like.
