So about the quite extended leave of absence. School is a
pain and I’ve been feeling pretty rubbish lately… So, no motivation to do
anything… I’m sorry.
But, I’m back and I have another lovely manicure and this
time, with a tutorial! :) Eventually… I know I keep threatening to do one and
this time I’ve actually got around to doing one. It's pretty much a tutorial for this manicure, just with different colours. :)
Anyway, I hope you enjoy – I had originally planned to use
neon orange for this manicure, but that had to be potted after I accidently
dropped it and it smashed all over my (beige) kitchen tiles. My mother was not
impressed. But, at least it wasn’t black and at least I had another orange. That’s
all that matters, right?
Yellow, Orange and Gold Tape Manicure
Gold shimmer nail polish (I used some gold stuff by Beloved)
Yellow nail polish (I used Say Cheese by Mode)
Orange nail polish (I used Tempt Me Tangerine (love that name!) by BYS)
Sticky tape
Scissors
Top coat
1. Apply a base of gold nail polish and wait until it is COMPLTELY dry (otherwise you will pull up all your nail polish with the tape
2. Cut a small bit of tape and de-sticky it by placing it, sticky side down, against your palm and then stick it to your nail, sectioning off a small bit
3. Paint the nail with yellow nail polish and while the polish is still wet, take the sticky tape off
4. Repeat with the rest of your nails, sectioning off different bits on every nail
5. When the yellow is completely dry, repeat the proccess of sectioning off bits of nail and painting it with the orange nail polish
6. Finish with a top coat and go show off!
