Hello my
dearest lovelies,
So, I went
shopping on the weekend and I sternly said to myself ‘Lissa, you are going to
get your friend’s birthday present and that is all. You are not going to
browse. You have a mission. And you are not going to get distracted in the
cosmetics and nail areas.’
It didn’t
work.
I got very
distracted and ended up coming home with my friend’s present, two pairs of
jeans and 3 bottles of nail polish. Although, in my defence, they were
reeeeeeally good bargains (I am the BIGGEST sucker for a bargain ever). The
jeans only cost me $5 each and two of nail polishes were $1 each and the other
was $2 so really, you can’t blame me. I
was very dubious at how well the polishes would hold up, being so cheap, but I
was pleasantly surprised at the $2 one. Although the brand name was super lame
(LOL, really?) the actual colour name was Pink Bubbly, which I love! And, I
love the colour itself. It’s a sort of pink-y, red-y glitter and it is soooooo
sparkly. These pictures don’t do it just justice, it was that sparkly. :) Here,
I’ve put it over a base of Cherry Brandy, by Continuous Colour. The formula was really, really smooth and you got a lot of glitter and sparkles without actually having to fish around too much. So all in all, I'm really impressed and if I see anymore LOL around for $2, I will definitely be buying it. :)
It also
lasted reasonably well – about 3 days. I like it. It's like a red glitter with a difference. I think it will be quite versatile as it is right in the area when it's neither definitely pink or red, but could be either, given the right circumstances.
