Pastel Glam Nails

Okay, so maybe that title sounds a little contradictory, but I honestly didn't know what else to call them! They have sparkles and jewels but also pastel colours? I think they can be called pastel glam and since it's my blog, I'm gonna call them that. :)

I was really happy with these as it actually gave me a chance to use a polish I won from Jindie Nails and that I love to bits, but find it difficult to wear. It's called Candyland and while it's super different to anything that I would normally wear, I really like it. However, it is a milky glitter and I find them very hard to use. I also have to do a lot of fishing to get a good amount of glitter out...

So, as a rather impatient person, I do not the whole process of white base + thick/multiple coats + fishing that is required to use this polish, especially when applied to all ten fingers! But then, if I don't apply it to all ten fingers, what do I match such a unique and interesting polish with?? Ergh! What a dilemma!

Matte Geometric Nails

Hey lovelies,

So, I have a slightly different nail design to show you today. It's been cooling down in Perth recently (I even had to use my duvet all night last night!) and I got really excited to use some of my cooler colours, instead of the super bright ones I've been using recently (well, except for my storm nails).

I also really wanted to use my matte top coat more since I almost never use it. I'm not really sure why, since I really like a matte look. Anyway, based on those constraints, this is my final design

A Beige French look in Albany

Hello lovelies,

Here is my promised second part to my previous post here.

Continuing on from my neutral look with flowers, I went for a beige french look, with a bit of bling. To be honest, I don't actually like it very much. I don't really like beige, and I much prefer a pink French look a beige one. The only reason I used beige instead of pink was because I hadn't brought a pink with me. But, I also wanted to try out the beige I had bought while I was there (because it would come in handy for nail art).

Christmas Nail Art Challenge - Day 11

Woooo! Look at me go! Two posts in one day. :)

How about we ignore the fact that the only reason I'm posting two in one day is because I was so late in posting the first one of today..... That sound good?

Anyway, day 11 was Christmas sparkle and so I, of course had to do the bling-y-est Christmas nails I could think of. :) I was also excited to do this one because I got to use one of my (many) new nail polishes that I got for Christmas. :) Yay!

Anyway, this is what I came up with.

Hello there everyone!

Sorry about last week. I was away on holiday (yes, I had a lovely time, thank you for asking) and I thought that I would have access to internet - although, when I think about it, it seems quite obviously that I probably wouldn't.... Oh well. I'm back now and just in time for day 1 of the Christmas Nail Art challenge - Christmas tree. I'm sorry about my lack of creativity in this one - I was on a bus for about 9 hours today and so was feeling less than enthusiastic about this challenge. But I will forge ahead anyway and push forward through my exhaustion. :)

Hello gorgeous people!

After my recent AWOL, I have vowed to come back with a bang. I hope that you guys appreciate the 6+ hours I have put in for you guys today, drafting ideas, creating posts, taking photos, editing photos, taking more photos, binning them all in frustration… No, not the last part. Today is a wonderfully beautiful gorgeous happy sunny day in Perth, with the temperature probably around the mid to late twenty’s. Absolutely gorgeous and so what I love. I am over this stupid winter and cold weather so bring on the sun and hit me with summer! :) But really, it also means I just can take a ton of good photos because of the beautiful sunlight – evidenced in the photos in this post.
