Hello Kitty Nails

Hi my lovelies

Today I have some really cute nails for you. They have Hello Kitty on them. I mean, do you even get nails that are cuter than that?!

I got the nail stickers from the Born Pretty store from their mystery one dollar buy – which pretty much is like a lucky dip. You pay one dollar and they will send you something up to the value of $6. When I opened it up and got Hello Kitty nail stickers, pink striping tape and some Dior and Chanel nail stickers, I was initially very disappointed. I had just bought 30 rolls of striping tape, so I had no need for more, although I will definitely use it, I was never I huge fan of Hello Kitty and I didn’t even know what the other weird stickers were until Opinionated gave me a very withering look and informed me that it was Dior and Chanel…

But, things got a whole lot better when I actually examined the Hello Kitty ones and realised that they were actually really cute and then life improved more when I sold my Chanel and Dior thingies to Opinionated for a dollar – I didn’t tell her I’d only spent $1 on the whole lot. :)

I then got to experimenting with the Hello Kitty’s (Hello Kitties? Hello Kittys?) and tried one design, which I liked (it had stripes in various shades of pink), but then did another design and liked it even better! I just really like polka dots. The stickers also stayed on for a long time (easily one week) and then when I took them off, they were pretty stubborn. I also felt really mean, trying to sever Kitty’s head and body from my nail… :(

For these nails, I used Pink Colada by Ultra3 (pictured), Bamboo Shoot by Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear and of course, Hello Kitty nail stickers from the Born Pretty store.
