Inspired By: Avengers Assemble - Thor

Hi lovelies,

So I've been making a good head start on my New Year's resolutions and done another member of the Avengers as part of my Avengers Assemble series. Today, we have Thor, Norse God of Thunder...

While I was pretty happy with them overall, and very happy with some elements, I do think it could have been done a lot better. I was really quite proud of my lightning bolts and I reckon I've improved since I last tried them. It was just a pity that the pink bled through into the white when I applied my top coat...

Because these aren't the most straightforward 'Inspired By' nails I've done, here's a little run down on what each nail is meant to be.
Pinky and index fingers have lightning on them, because of storms and thunder and lightning, which I thought was fitting for the God of Thunder.
My middle finger is red because of his cape and the studs are playing tribute to ones on the front of his amour (such as in this picture).
My ring finger is is meant to look like chain-mail-ish armour on his arms (like this)
My thumb has got Mjölnir on it, with and behind it it's meant to look like lightning but it didn't really turn out as well as I hoped. I used this picture for inspiration. 

For these nails, I used:

Black Out by Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear (black)

Push and Shove by OPI (chrome/silver)

Sweetpea by Australis (pale green)

Unamed fuchsia by Urban Colour

Snow Me White by Sinful Colors (white)

Endless Blue by Sinful Colors (dark blue)

Ursula by Face Of Australia (purple)

Shade 12 by BC Company (light blue)

Lady in Red by Face of Australia (red, pictured)

Midnight Haze by Revlon (dark grey)

Unamed brown by Rubi

It was all finished with a coat of Super Fast Drying Top Coat by Poshe and I also used round studs from this wheel from the Born Pretty Store (use my code ASCX31 for 10% off).

While I don't think it's my best, and definitely not my favourite (I don't think any one of these is going to beat Tony's), it's pretty good. Although, if I had trouble with Thor, I dread to think how hard I'm going to find Clint and Bruce.....
