Hi there everyone,
So, here's another nail post for you all, because I've just been really excited about nails recently. I actually mostly blame this on Pinterest, which gives me unlimited access to sooooo many nails and now I can have a lovely collection of nailspiration at my finger tips. If you are interested, check out my Pinterest page here.
Anyway, on to the nails of todays post. These took way longer than they should have done but I'm still really pleased with them.
The reason they took as long as they did was mostly because I didn't have a pale enough blue and red/pink to use for the lines and margins so I had to mix the colours I did have with white to create new colours and then when I'd done that it still wasn't pale enough so I had to do a coat of sheer white over the top to make it even paler. So, pretty much, if I had more polish, this all would have been averted... :)
Also, please still be excusing my pretty dodgy photography. I keep trying new set ups, but they aren't quite working, as you can see...
Would you believe that this whole nail design came about because I wanted to use the paper plane nail tattoos that I have? Because it did. I got the nail tattoos from here and I did a review of the two sets I received here, in case you want to check it out. I would definitely recommend it - they are cheap, easy to use, and they have free shipping! And..... I just realised that these photos don't show my thumb. But, on my thumb is a little paper airplane and that's what the little tracks are for.
So, for these I used
And, that's about it. Hope you like them! Oh, and a little bit more shameless self promotion before I go. In addition to my Pinterest, I've also just got instagram, which you can also follow me on if you would like. :) All my links to my other social media sites are in my sidebar to the right, in case you hadn't already noticed.
