Then and Now: Galaxy Nails

Thursday, 14 August 2014

Today's nails are galaxy nails because they are beautiful! And look stunning and way harder than they actually are. And it's pretty easy to get both hands looking the same because it's just sponging bits of polish on in random places. :)

Although I didn't start out with the intent to do a Now and Then post, I feel like this would make a good one. So, for comparison, here's my first attempt at galaxy nails.

Actually, now that I look at them, I'm a bit embarrassed. Where is the clean-up? Did I even do any? I guess I had to, because of the sponging, but still... And why didn't I get rid of the piece of glitter on my middle finger??? It's really aggravating me now. Why didn't I just photo-shop it out? It's really easy.

I also obviously didn't know how to make the camera focus either...

I mean, I know my photography is not the best now, but at least I know how to focus a camera! Actually, I'm quite embarrassed.

Oh look - the elusive right hand!
