Hi lovelies,
So, with Easter around the corner, I thought it was high time to break the Easter themed manicures. Although, be warned, this is about the only time in the whole year in which you will witness a pastel colours on my nails. I just really am not into pastels. Like, at all. They don't do anything for me. But, I feel that Easter is a very pastel themed time, especially because of all the new life and lambies and duckies and springtime stuff that does not happen at all in Australia because we are meant to be in Autumn, even though the weather is being really weird and swinging being really hot (we had highs of 35 this week) and weirdly cold with lows of like, 9. Which is weird. And I'm sick of not being able to tell whether it's going to be a jeans or shorts day when I get up at 6:15 for work.... But anyway, moving onto my adorable Easter nail art...
I was actually going to bunnies on more fingers, and then realised that I did not have time for that and that if I did that, at least two of them would end up looking a little manic/crazy/rabid. So I stuck with two and just went with dots - they seemed very Easter-y. By the way, does anybody know while we associate dots with Easter? I don't get it.
Oh, and I got the idea and the design of the bunny from this image on Pinterest.
Starting from my thumb in the above picture, the base polishes are; an unnamed purple by Models Prefer, Be Happy by an unknown brand, an unnamed pink by Rubi, Shade 16 by BC Co. and an unnamed pink by Models Prefer. The white was My Boyfriend Scales Walls by OPI and the black is Black Satin by ulta3. I used the same colours as the bases for the dots and the pink on the bunny's eyes and cheeks is a combination of the two pinks I have already mentioned. Basically, I just used a lot of miscellaneous polishes.
I hope everyone has an absolutely fabulous Easter weekend and that everyone stays safe.

Look - a rare shot of my right hand. I was actually quite proud of this one - although my photography needs work... :) |
